Work collaboratively with psychologists and psychotherapists, physicians & APPs, dietitians, and nursing in a Team Based Care Model
Provide diagnostic, psychological, or biopsychosocial evaluation and execute therapeutic treatment toward defined goals.
Provide evidence-based psychotherapy interventions in our outpatient services.
Opportunity for bariatric pre-surgical assessments and inpatient consultations.
May be part of staff and program development.

The psychologist works to strengthen motivation and commitment to specific change goals through a collaborative, goal-oriented style of communication using motivational interviewing and evidence-based psychotherapy.

Qualifications

• PSYCHOLOGIST:

  • PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology Required
  • Completion of post-doc training year is preferred .
  • Successful candidates will have training, experience, and interest in outpatient psychotherapy and psychological testing.
  • Licensure by the State of Minnesota Board of Psychology must be obtained within 18 months of employment. Licensure at the time of employment is preferred. Successful compliance with Minnesota Law, Chapter 372 relating to sexual exploitation of patients by staff providing psychotherapy services

• PSYCHOTHERAPIST

  • Masters Degree in Social Work is required.
  • Minimum of one-year experience is required.
  • Licensure by the State of Minnesota Board of Social Work at Independent Clinical level (LICSW) required.

• ASSOCIATE PSYCHOTHERAPIST

  • Masters Degree in Social Work is required.
  • Clinical internship experience relevant to the position is preferred.
