The locum would be strictly clinic coverage to start, if the provider is a good fit, may be asked to cover some OB/GYN call.Dates of coverage (24-hour shifts - 7a-7a):Feb 19 (7a) - 23 (7a) - 24 hour callFeb 19 - 22 - 4 hours clinic daysFeb 26 - 8 hour clinic daysFeb 27-29 - 4 hour clinic & 24 hour call Details:Setting: InpatientRequired Procedures: Vaginal deliveries, C-sections, cyst, tubals, bladder repair, D&C'sSchedule: on call 24 hours a day, round on patients, come in for deliveries, go to ER if urgent cases present.

Duties:OB/GYNduties General Duties. Physiciana s duties shall include, but are not limitedto, the following:(a) Treat patients according to, and perform such clinical procedures as areconsistent with, Physiciana s licensure, clinical specialty and privileges,practice, and training(b)Prepare and maintain all reports, claims, and correspondence necessary orappropriate to the performance of professional services(c)Attend professional conventions, post-graduate seminars, and continuing medicaleducation programs to maintain and enhance Physiciana s professional skills, andparticipate in professional societies on a reasonable basis(d) Promote the professional practice of Physician and of Hospital(e)In accordance with such policy(ies) as may be established by Hospital, providecoverage when other physician employees at the facilities at which Physicianpractices are unavailable due to vacations, holidays, illness, family ormedical leave, and attendance at professional activities(f) Provide Services at the location(s) determined by the Hospital based uponpatient levels and needs(g) Cooperate with Hospital in the event ofa claim, threatened claim, or litigation involving Hospitala s policies,procedures, and applicable laws(h) Supervise mid-levels, nurses, and other personnel in accordance with Hospitala spolicies, procedures, and applicable laws(i)Participate in Hospital credentialing and peer review activities(j)Accept Physiciana s proportionate share of after-hours call coverage withinHospitala s practice;(k) Attend to patients in hospitals and other facilitieswhenever they are admitted for care in such facilities(l)Assist Hospital in obtaining and maintaining any and all licenses, permits, andother authorizations, plus achieving any applicable accreditation standards,including, without limitation, those that related to Physiciana s services underthis Agreement.(m)Participate in and cooperate with Hospitala s community service activitiesconsistent with and in furtherance of Hospitala s charitable mission by, withoutlimitation, assisting in community health and wellness education, communityservice activities, and treatment of indigent and charity care patients,including patients covered by Medicaid and other state health programs(n)Actively and regularly promote his/her services and practice in the communityby participating in appropriate marketing, speaking and communityactivities/events as recommended or requested by Hospital(o)Keep and maintain (or cause to be kept and maintained) appropriate records(including, without limitation, patient charts) on a timely basis relating toall professional medical services rendered by Physician
