Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) - FT Nights

HCA Houston ER 24/7 - Alvin, a department of HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake, is a conveniently located, full-service 7-bed emergency room providing care for all types of acute injuries and illnesses. This ER 24/7 is staffed with experienced board-certified physicians plus all lab work and imaging (digital x-ray, CT scan, and ultrasound) is performed and processed on-site to expedite care.

What you will do in this role:

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift. In collaboration with other members of the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serves as a resource person for staff, and models a commitment to the organization's vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Current Texas licensure with State Board of Nurse Examiners as an RN.

  • Graduate from accredited school of nursing required.

  • 1+ years experience in healthcare

  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification
