General Neurology Position - University of Vermont Medical Center

The Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at the University of Vermont beckons dedicated physicians to join our established program in General/Comprehensive Neurology.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical care at the University of Vermont Health Network Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin, Vermont.
  • Address a broad spectrum of neurologic conditions like epilepsy, stroke, headaches, multiple sclerosis, movement disorders, and neuromuscular issues.
  • Conduct EMG/Nerve conduction tests and oversee standard and ambulatory EEG monitoring.
  • Primarily serve in an outpatient capacity with shared responsibility for inpatient consultations.
  • Note: Acute stroke management decisions fall outside the neurologist's purview at CVMC.

Qualifications:

  • American Board of and Neurology board eligibility/certification.
  • Fellowship training in a clinical neurology discipline is favorable, though not mandatory.
  • An inherent commitment to maintain and elevate the standards of clinical care and education.
