Gillette Childrens is seeking a skilled Pediatric Palliative Care physician to join our palliative care team. This role offers a well-balanced blend of outpatient clinic responsibilities and inpatient consultations. Practice Details:

  • Work collaboratively with a team of physicians including a large group of complex care physicians as well as a dedicated palliative care team including social work, child life, psychology, nursing, therapeutic recreation, chaplaincy and administrative support.
  • FTE: Flexible up to 1.0 FTE
  • Shared call of 1:8; phone call only

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Graduate of an accredited Pediatrics, Family Medicine, or combined Internal Medicine/Pediatrics ACGME/AOA Residency program
  • Graduate of a Palliative Medicine Fellowship
  • BC/BE in Hospice and Palliative Medicine as well as Pediatrics, Family Medicine, or combined Internal Medicine/Pediatrics with the ABMS or AOA
  • Licensed or ability to obtain licensure through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice
  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota
  • Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges
