The laboratory focuses on research, technology innovation, proof-of-concept activities, technical marketing, and business development for novel energy solutions.

Desired technical background: Master's or PhD candidate with experiences in power electronics, communication and hardware implementations. Degree in Electrical Engineering or any other related degree; especially with a focus on edge computing. Previous research related to communication and data protocols such as modbus, DNP3, RS485, CAN, MQTT, Kafka, IEEE 61850, WIFI, Cellular, WAN/LAN, AWS, cloud-edge communication, etc Expert knowledge of distribution power flow analytics, nature of electrical loads is preferred.

Proficiency in Python is a must. Familiar with popular database software, ie Postgres etc. is preferred
