Position Summary: The Clinician is a licensed and experienced professional who provides counseling and therapeutic services to individuals, families, or groups facing a range of social, emotional, and mental health challenges. This role involves assessments, treatment planning, individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to support clients in achieving their goals and improving their well-being.

Key Responsibilities: ? Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that consider physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual dimensions. ? Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the client's social, emotional, and mental health needs. ? Collaborate with clients to identify necessary resources, services, and support systems.

? Collaborate with clients to establish treatment goals and develop personalized care plans. Monitor and evaluate progress toward treatment goals and adjust care plans as needed. ? Provide individual, family and group counseling sessions to clients using a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

? Assist clients in managing and addressing issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, relationship problems and other mental health related illnesses . ? Offer crisis intervention and support during urgent situations. ? Maintain accurate and confidential client records, treatment plans, and progress notes.

Documentation and Reporting: ? Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including assessment & progress notes within 48 hours, treatment plans by second session, and discharge summaries. ? Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards related to counseling and client confidentiality. Collaboration and Teamwork: Our team members, including counselors, social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists and support staff, actively communicate and share insights to create tailored treatment plans that address each client's unique needs.

Team members are expected to actively engage in these meetings, sharing case updates, insights, and feedback. This ensures that the entire team is aligned on client progress and can adjust treatment plans as necessary. ? Clinical Supervision: Regular clinical supervision sessions provide an opportunity for team members to receive guidance and mentorship.

It's a space to discuss challenging cases, seek advice, and refine therapeutic techniques collaboratively. ? Group Therapy Facilitation: Facilitating one monthly group therapy session allows team members to share their expertise and contribute to our group therapy program, which plays a vital role in our service offerings. ? Flexible Scheduling: Our team recognizes the importance of meeting clients' needs at times convenient for them, which may extend beyond traditional business hours and may involve evening or weekend hours to accommodate client schedules.

? Facility Maintenance: All team members share office duties to include light cleaning inorder to maintain a trauma informed and comforting environment. Community Engagement: ? Our commitment to the community extends beyond counseling sessions. Team members are expected to represent the practice at community events and initiatives by participating in at least one community event per month, building connections with local resources, and recruiting potential clients.

? Metanoia Counseling hosts several events throughout the year as part of our commitment to promoting holistic wellness and mental health in the community. Team members are expected to actively participate in planning and facilitating these events, which may include workshops, seminars, wellness fairs, or other community outreach and fundraising activities. Professional Development: ? Stay current with developments in social work and counseling through ongoing training and education.

Team members will attend workshops, conferences, or other training opportunities. ? Maintain licensure and adhere to ethical standards and best practices in counseling and social work. Qualifications: ? A counseling or equivalent degree from an accredited university & graduate program ? Possession of a valid LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCDC license issued by the appropriate state licensing board.

This license demonstrates that the individual has met the educational and supervised practice requirements to practice as an LMSW in the state. ? Proof of professional liability insurance coverage. This insurance helps protect the professional and the organization from legal claims and liability ? Compliance with all ethical and legal standards established by relevant licensing boards ? Min of at least 2 year clinical experience ? Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building rapport with clients, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and advocating for clients' well-being.

? A genuine empathy for clients and a compassionate approach to helping individuals and families in distress. ? Sensitivity and competence in working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, and the ability to adapt counseling approaches accordingly. ? Proficiency in maintaining accurate and confidential client records, including assessment notes, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.

? Legal authorization to work in the country or state where the position is located. ? The practice or organization may require candidates to undergo background checks or clearance as part of the hiring process.
