Senior Manager, Product Development & Management
This position is available to North Carolina residents as Raleigh, NC in-office applicants. Enact currently enjoys a hybrid in office/work from home schedule.

The Senior Manager, Product Development & Management reports to the Director, Customer Success and is responsible for leading development and execution of strategies to efficiently differentiate Enact from our competitors through our products, value added services, and other ease-of-use benefits. This position will serve as a company-wide subject matter expert for key aspects of our MI product and other products under management. A successful candidate will build relationships and drive connection internally across all functions to effectively execute and communicate customer-facing initiatives. The products leader will also establish relationships with sales, key vendors, and our lender partners to gain insights into development and enhancements to bring value to borrowers and lender partners.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of high performing product managers. Work with each team member to deliver, learn, and grow.
Source, assess, and prioritize pipeline of product opportunities to improve profitability and market share, considering impacts to finance, legal, risk, regulatory compliance, and operations.
Develop and manage execution of a strategic roadmap for the products team, identifying and prioritizing initiatives that develop new and improve existing go to market strategies.
Lead and collaborate cross-functionally to develop products that improve access, affordability, and sustainability of homeownership to minorities and first-generation homebuyers.
Partner with the Business Intelligence team to measure success. Assess holistic health, recommend optimal target customers and customers better served by other solutions.
Lead Product and Service Development Process (PSDP) and Commercialization forum to drive impactful, efficient, and well-communicated development of products and value-added services.
Establish strong working relationships with sales, lender partners, and key vendors. Incorporate broad, diverse perspectives into development and enhancement of products and services.
Collaborate across Customer Success to foster connection and alignment among customer-specific initiatives, products, sales enablement technology, and enterprise strategic initiatives.
Partner with the marketing team to improve visibility, understanding of, and target audiences for existing products and services. Partner with the Sales Operations team to align Salesforce strategy and sales enablement technology with go to market strategies.
Leadership of diverse teams and initiatives formally and informally and fostering of a productive and engaging team dynamic.
Knowledge of Mortgage Insurance or Mortgage Banking industries, and secondary mortgage market and capital markets.
Nimble in your role to serve as a subject matter expert, driver of collaboration, and project manager.
Motivate your team to deliver a high level of output while managing priorities to each team member's capacity.
Analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to effectively communicate in-depth analyses to all levels in the organization.
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, including strong ability to influence and gain buy-in from various levels and functions in the organization.
Balance potential conflicts between customer needs and business objectives.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
Experience in the mortgage or fintech industries.
Minimum 5 years business experience in Product Management, Sales, Account Development, or Financial Structuring/Pricing.
Ability to work extended hours and travel domestically (<10%) as business dictates.
Ability to lead change in a dynamic environment.

Experience working in secondary mortgage markets.
Extensive competitive analysis, market analysis, and product strategy experience.
A sales mindset with ability to translate business objectives into actionable sales tasks.
