Responsibilities Primary Function:
Required to greet and receive patients and other customers as the face of practice and ultimately the organization. Works under general supervision of the Office Manager to courteously and professionally process patients into the office for their medical visits. Required to check in patients in accordance with Jefferson Health Physician Services Policies and procedures. Also ensure that all cash is collected and secured in adherence with day close protocols. Additionally will be expected to manage incoming and outgoing calls, schedule all appointments, and perform general business functions as assigned.Qualifications
Full-Time, 40 hours/week ( Days) Education:
High School diploma or equivalent. Experience:
Up to six months of previous receptionist or general office experience.
Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
Good telephone skills.
Ability to pay close attention to detail and work in fast paced environment.
Ability to handle crisis situations. Licensure/Certification/Registration Requirements:
