Position Summary: The registered nurse provides clinical and administrative support to the program. The RN performs therapeutic measures prescribed and delegated by the physician, participates in patient education and rehabilitation, provides interpretation of treatment to the patient and the patient's family, and coordinates unit activities, while assuring accountability of all assigned tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current BCLS Certification
• Demonstrate leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
• General knowledge of psychiatric nursing practice
• Graduate of an accredited program of Registered Nursing
• Experience in psychiatric nursing is preferred
• Current Iowa Registered Nurse License
