Advanced Surgical Technology

• Advanced Surgical Technology offers vascular surgery, general surgery, plastic surgery, primary care, behavioral healthcare, cosmetics and aesthetic services. The practice has 3 surgery locations: Mt. Vernon, Centralia, and Herrin.
• Currently, the team includes 1 general/vascular surgeon, 1 plastic surgeon, 1 breast surgeon, 2 surgery nurse practitioners, and 13 primary care mid-levels; 2 of which focus on behavioral health.

Qualifications:

• Board certified/board eligible
• MD or DO
• Experienced providers or new graduates (community-based residency preferred - not academic program)
• Can support H1B visas and J1 Waiver applicants

Communities:

General surgery is a needed specialty in Southern Illinois. Surgeon will have the option of practicing in Mt. Vernon, IL, Herrin, IL or Centralia, IL or possibly all three. All physician offices are new and allow surgeons the ability to do many cases in the office, plus the ability to use robotics at neighboring hospitals.

Job Description and Schedule:

• The offices include 2 OR suites, onsite vascular lab, and in house imaging with the opportunity to perform the majority of the cases in-house. Our brand new state of the art facility in Mount Vernon, IL houses general surgery, breast surgery, and vascular surgery.
  
  • Support team: You have input on your team including mid-level providers, nursing staff, and receptionists
• General Surgeon must be comfortable performing cases in our facilities with bigger or more high risk general surgery cases being taken to hospital, ie. Robotic surgeries
