Broward Health North Shift: Shift 1 FTE: 1.000000 Summary: Provides care and coordinates the delivery of oncology treatments, often in intensive care conditions, to assigned patients in a medical oncology facility. Supervises and provides nursing care to cancer patients. Monitors patient's condition, develops care plans, and symptom management protocols, and administers medication. Education:. Minimum Education and/or: Graduate of an accredited nursing school (AD in Nursing, RN Diploma, or BSN); or if attended an approved nursing school must have two years of recent acute care hospital experience in the past three years. Experience:. One to two years' experience required. Credentials:. Registered Nurse. BLS and ACLS through AHA or Red Cross. ONS Certification required.
