The Cardiac Cath Lab at Dearborn supports 4 procedural labs and 16 pre and post-procedure bays. As the referral center for the surrounding communities, we see and treat both elective and emergent patients with cardiac and vascular conditions. Utilizing the most up to date technology and supplies, the lab performs diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures, while specializing in high risk angioplasty with the use of heart support devices. In addition, we specialize in chronic total occlusions and structural heart procedures with in-lab TAVR (transcatheter aortic valve replacement). The lab also performs numerous pacemaker implants, generator changes, loop recorder insertions, transesophageal echo and cardioversion procedures .

Qualifications
Required Associate's Degree Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Diploma, A.D.N., B.S.N., M.S.N., DNP/PhD - if not minimum BSN prepared, new graduate/nurse with less than one (1) year experience is required to sign an educational contract upon hire to complete BSN within specified timeframe and adhere to contract stipulations. RN must enroll in aaccredited BSN program within one (1) year of licensure date and complete within the next four (4) years. This is effective September 1, 2017.

Critical Care, Cath Lab, or Procedural/OR experience. Preferred
LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
CRT-Specialty Certification - UNKNOWN Unknown in specialty 2 Yrs required
CRT-At least one Certification from preferred list - UNKNOWN Unknown Upon Hire required
CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or
