As the Radiology Technologist ARRT, you will be responsible for the provision of Imaging Services to include the specialty areas of routine diagnostic x-rays, portable x-rays and fluoroscopy. Under the direction of the Chief Radiologic Technologist, the Director of Medical Imaging, and the Staff Radiologists, the Radiologic Technologist is responsible to safely and proficiently perform diagnostic imaging procedures and related patient care according to, government regulations, physician orders, policies and procedures of the Medical Imaging Department, and policies and procedures of the hospital. What You Will Do In This Role:

* You will obtain quality diagnostic images.

* You will scan in labels and document appropriately.

* You will Resolve QA issues in a timely manner.

* You will ensure images are released to radiologists in a timely manner.

* You will ensure orders are valid and entered appropriately.

* You will transport patients as needed.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

* Graduate of a 2 year accredited school of Radiologic Technology or comparable training.

* Current registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.) is required.

* Current certification with the Texas Department of Health (CMRT) is required. (L.M.R.T license is not accepted)

* Appropriate experience as determined by the Manager of Medical Imaging, and/or Director of Medical Imaging.

* American Heart Association BLS certification is required

* One year of previous experience in a hospital environment is preferred.
