Cleveland Clinic Lutheran Hospital's Alcohol & Drug Recovery Center is a inpatient detoxification unit. Our unit incorporates recovery components, such as: compassion, understanding, and a thorough understanding of the disease process, as well as a 12-step philosophy. Our dedicated, interdisciplinary treatment team consists of registered nurses, social workers, patient care nursing assistants and pastoral care team members who are dedicated to helping patients achieve more healthy and productive lives.
As a Registered Nurse, you will become familiar with complex medical histories, innovative surgical procedures, pain modalities, and comprehensive nutritional support. Your primary duties will include but are not limited to :
Providing direct nursing care.
Monitoring, recording, and communicating patients' conditions as appropriate .
Preparing patient care plans.
Administering prescribed medications.
The future caregiver is someone who:
Communicates effectively with patients and team member s .
Is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Can critically think and problem solve for patients' best interests.
Can provide emotional, spiritual, and psychological support to patients.
