2-3 years' experience as a Hospitalist or Nocturnist
Experience in rural health preferred, but not required
Vent management experience required
Experience running codes
Board-certified preferred, will consider board-eligible and recent graduates
The Nocturnist would be responsible for 12 hour shifts per month, seeing an average of 2-6 admissions each night, overseeing an open intermediate care/step down unit, which includes temporary vent management
Specialty backup includes surgeons to perform central line insertions, respiratory therapists, Emergency Medicine physicians and CRNAs
