Responsibilities

  • Prepares, measures and administers radiopharmaceuticals for use in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • May provide clerical support for assigned department to include but not limited to scheduling appointments, record keeping and answering phones.
  • Performs quality control and maintains equipment and reports areas of concern to appropriate manager.
  • Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
  • Maintains credentials and/or licensures.
  • Participates and attends departmental meetings.
  • Takes ownership of assignments; other duties as assigned or requested.
  • Communicates and listens effectively with internal and external customers; effectively understands instructions and shares knowledge.
  • Cooperates and interacts with supervisors, peers, other departments, and all customer groups demonstrating our commitment to service .

Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • Graduate of an Accredited Nuclear Medicine Program.
  • One (1) year clinical internship
  • ARRT(N), or NMTCB, or ASCP(N)
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certificate issued by State of NM
  • CPR Certified

Preferred Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Two (2) years of related experience
