Interventional Radiology Technologist are eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 (Full-Time New Hire), $2,500 (Part-Time New Hire), and $1,000 (PRN New Hire)

Novant Health is seeking an Interventional Radiology Tech. The Interventional Radiology Technologist I assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the x-ray equipment in order to obtain diagnostic images. Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 2 Year/Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program, required.
  • Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in Diagnostic Radiology, required. Minimum of one year of experience in Interventional Radiology, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography - RT(R), required. IV Credentialed, preferred. Applicable state licensure, required.
  • Additional skills required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Thorough knowledge of interventional procedure and activity.
