JOB SUMMARY:

The Imaging and Diagnostic staff functions under the direction of the Imaging Manager and provides care for the patient under the Imaging Manager, and Radiologist direction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Able to accurately identify pathology and further evaluate as needed
Performs measurements and calculations according to laboratory protocol
Provides written or an oral summary of preliminary findings to the interpreting Cardiologist
Responsible for the safety and well-being of all patients in the Echo department
Performs other work related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

2 yrs. of current experience as ECHO Tech; must have adult echocardiography, pediatric echocardiology a plus
Experience with GE logiq equipment
Graduate from an accredited cardiac sonography program
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or the Cardiovascular Credentialing International
