The Discovery Program is designed to facilitate and provide support for a successful transition into professional practice for the new RN. This program requires that you work full-time for two weeks with a current RN. Upon completion of the program, new graduates will be able to apply to their desired unit. Please note, that shifts may vary depending on department/unit need.

Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Requires an Associate of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
Requires current state of Indiana license as a Registered Nurse.
Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
