Roofer Aldershot (and surrounding sites), GU11 2AA. 13 Sites 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday (Weekend work as required) £34,000 with Company Van This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious Roofer to successfully deliver the day-to-day repairs service, to the MOD you will provide front line delivery to the MOD family s, working to carry out technical service tasks at the highest quality. Working with the Works Supervisor, you will carry out repairs to a variety of building services, including minor roofing works, building work and grounds work.
As part of this role you will: - Be involved with refurbishment, planned and reactive maintenance.
- Work with minimal supervision and have the ability to make decisions on the most appropriate repair solution.
- Complete and finalise projects to a high standard and have the ability to self-snag works on completion
- Installs Gutters downpipes, roof works, felting works and minor groundworks to work at heights, undertaking pointing
- Cut openings in structure to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings, using hand and power tools
- Attend team briefs, Toolbox talks and technical bulletins on a monthly bases or as when required.
- Utilise both electronic and paper-based systems to accurately record documentation including the use of materials against each job.
- Be flexible and willing to work shift patterns to cover the appointments
- Cover 13 sites. Every estate is within an hour
What you ll need to do this role: - Have a full UK Driving Licence
- Previous experience in roofing works
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work in all weathers
- Ability to use hand tools
